Frank Amann, Director was born 1961 in Wiesbaden, Germany. In 1989 he was awarded his MA in Philosophy, Politics, Cinema Studies, J. W. Goethe-University Frankfurt/ Main Assistant Cameraman. In 1994 he was the visiting scholar at the National Film- and Television School (NFTS), Beaconsfield/ London and in1998 he graduated from the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb).  He worked as a DoP for many years. He’s a member of the German Film Academy.  SHOT IN THE DARK is his first film as a director.
