Colm Mullen

Colm Mullen, is a cinematographer, community youth worker and educator from Dundalk, Co. Louth. He has been involved in film/photography and community arts education for the past ten years. His work is collaboratively based and seeks meaningful, collective exploration of subject matter. Colm was cinematographer with Frank Berry on his feature drama film I Used to Live Here and stills photographer on his IFTA winning feature Michael Inside. In addition to his film and photography practice, Colm has ten years’ experience working with early school leavers, community groups and addiction support centers; where he designs and facilitates film and photography educational programmes. In collaboration with young people and community organisations they have produced drama and documentary films as well as public photography exhibitions. These projects have contributed to help raise awareness and stimulate discussion about the issues affecting the lives of the young people.
