Another News Story – Director / Producer – Official selection – IDFA, KVIFF, Zurich FF Gallivant Film London, United Kingdom. Wallace is the CEO and creative director at Gallivant Film. They produce music videos and branded content while pursuing the development of several feature projects. His role is primarily involved in conceiving creative routes, pitching, budgeting, scheduling, directing and producing shoots and edits. His work for Gallivant has seen him direct a string of music videos for a number of U.K artists and produce critically acclaimed ‘live session’ series with artists, placing them in weird and wonderful locations. He also headed Gallivants branded content working with a number of clients on short creative videos. He has just directed his first feature documentary Another News Story following the news journalists covering the refugee crisis. The film was produced by Verity Wislocki and has been officially selected at the following festivals, Karlovy Vary, Zurich FF, IDFA, Brussels Mediterranean, Vienna Watch Docs, and Iran Cinema Verite. Wallace is currently working on his first feature as writer/director. The film is backed by Universal Music and Fred Films and is a tale about English folk music.
