Following the Ninth follows the dramatic and inspirational stories of four people whose lives have been transformed by Beethoven’s message in his celebrated Ninth Symphony.
The “Festival at Home” edition of the Wexford Documentary Film Festival is now launched and will run until the end of October 2020. WDFF is a not-for-profit film festival, screening local, national and international films with a focus on works that explore social, political and environmental issues, including films that relate to maritime life and coastal communities.
The Arts Council is the national agency for funding, developing and promoting the arts in Ireland.

The aim is to improve the quality of life for the citizens of County Wexford by enabling people to engage in high quality arts experiences and by stimulating and supporting standards of excellence among artists in their practice.
This film tells the story of four Scotsmen in 1974 who refused to service and repair engines for the Chilean air force’s British-made Hawker Hunter jet fighters. Following Chile’s return to democracy, they were awarded the highest honour which the Chilean government can bestow on foreigners, the Order of Bernardo O’Higgins.
